Timothy Daniel Bargas

Timothy Daniel Bargas, 74, of Riverside, CA, passed away peacefully January 6, 2015 in Riversidem CA, after a short illness.

Funeral services are pending. Arlington Mortuary in Riverside, California is handling arrangements.  Tim was born in Denver Colorado to Salas Bargas and Magdalene Acosta on July 25, 1940.  He grew up in Santa Maria, California and graduated from Santa Maria High School in 1959. He served in the U.S,Army and was honorably discharged in November 1967.  He worked as an account executive for several different newspapers and publications including the Santa Maria Times, Tim enjoyed all sports especially horse racing and golf.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, Salas Bargas. He is survived by his mother, Magdalene Acosta, brothers; John Bargas, Armand Bargas, Richard Bargas and Julian Acosta; son Jay J. (Jessica) Bargas (Newport News, VA); daughters Tiffany A. Bargas (Apple Valley, CA) and Brooke E. Bargas (Apple Valley, CA); and seven grandchildren.
